For Sunday’s challenge, we’re keeping it simple…
100 burpees. You have all day to do them. Quality of movement is more important than speed.
And then climb back and forth over a vehicle 3 times. It can be a car, truck, tractor, boat, or airplane. It can be the hood, the trunk or the roof.
That’s it, dear queerfitters. You’ve planned things to do this weekend to show your gratitude for being alive in this beautiful world. Go do that thing. Just remember to throw in some burpees as you’re doing it.
Let us know in the comments what you climbed, and what part of it you climbed over.

Here’s the promised poem. I took a…tasteful…selfie of my promised, outdoor, pluvial nudity (OMG–so liberatory!), but I do think it’s better NOT posted.
Anyway, I have no idea from whence cometh this poem. It’s totally unlike me.
Do I really have to be grateful?
Oh, all right.
I’m grateful that my car’s heater doesn’t work.
I’m grateful for a zillion student papers to grade this weekend.
I’m grateful for fifty years of pimples.
I’m grateful for my dog Layla’s penchant for destruction. Plastic objects in the sink. A
gallon of paint knocked from the kitchen counter onto the floor. The stuffing from
every comforter on the couch. The neighbor boys’ soccer balls. The linoleum
kitchen floor…from the middle.
I’m grateful for bum knees.
I’m grateful that Kiza jumps upon and licks the face of every visitor.
I’m grateful for computer crashes.
I’m grateful for Layla’s stinky farts and anal gland expulsions.
I’m grateful that my big brother is a rabid right-wing, Republican militarist who thinks his
little sister is stupid.
I’m grateful that Nikki pees the bed almost every night.
I’m grateful that my old dog Compa’s accidental bite fucked up my left hand.
I’m grateful for Stella barking at every squirrel in the neighborhood.
I’m grateful for busted circuit breakers.
I’m grateful that gravity has called to my boobs.
I’m grateful that I’m losing my hearing.
I’m grateful that my daughter is disabled.
I’m grateful that my mom can’t see or hear or remember very well.
I’m grateful that my dad died last May.
If I were wise, I’d say
Something Buddhist here.
But I’m not.
I only.
Am.
Grateful.

100 pushups as sub. Plus front to back of my car X 3. The trunk part is not climbable, but is definitely slide-able. Wheeee….

Didn’t spread these out enough, but they’re done! Jumped over the island in my kitchen 3x…my car was too dirty to climb over. 😉
