Here we go, boys and girls and everything in between and off the spectrum entirely…the homestretch, the ninth inning, the final countdown, the eleventh hour, the last call, the bell lap. There are four more workouts and 9 more daily challenges remaining. Let’s get after it and make each and every one of them utterly AMAZING.
Starting with Monday’s challenge:
First thing in the morning, 5 sun salutations. Then, sometime during the day, you’ll need to find a biggish room, a hallway or some outdoor space to do:
5 lunge steps each leg
5 triple push-up burpees
10 squats
bear walk back to your starting point
3 times through

Done. Eleven minutes (not counting Sun Salutations.)
Instead of lunges, I bear-walked all over the house. (Okay, okay, it’s a small house…) Coach Kiza was a bit concerned, but Coach Layla thought it was the Best. Game. Ever.
And instead of squats, I did the 180 leg lifts (PT).

Sun salutations done and sufficiently warmed me up quite nicely. Workout done! Took about 4 minutes and some change. #TeamShine

Done! I didn’t time myself because I forgot and was at the park. I’ll estimate it took about 5 minutes [also…I posted for yesterday this morning…please give me a point 🙂 ]

Around 4 ish minutes. I did 15 burpees for the first round so I’m treating myself to a glass of wine (plus 23 pages of transcription – can anyone else join me in thesis woes…???)

Apt to the home stretch theme I fell today during an emotionally stressful time and hurt my hand. I then went on a two hour walk, kinda by accident, and practiced mindfulness. I’ve been resting but I actually think my finger is fractured and I’m going to have it looked at tomorrow.
Can this count as modification? I did the most that was right for me.
