Lots of legs will be on fire still from Monday’s lunges + Tuesday’s thrusters. Don’t be surprised if your legs hurt more today than on Tuesday…delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) will have you feeling your feeling-est 24-72 hours after you’ve put your muscles into overload. With, for example, 1000 lunges.
Who’s idea of a good time was THAT?!
For Wednesday’s challenge, wake up and slide right on into 7 sun salutations. Then:
5 push-ups, 1 level up from your regular push-ups
10 mountain climbers while you’re down there
15 burpees
30-second inversion
5 push-ups, 1 level up from your regular push-ups
10 mountain climbers while you’re down there
15 burpees
30-second wall sit
Twice through. You can do it twice through without pause, or split it up into two parts.
To get your 2 points, you must (1) let us know in the comments you completed this and (2) let us know something you did during QF92 that amazed yourself.

Done early! Here was my modification:
– 30 second high plank
– 30 sit ups
– 30 squats
– 25 sec low plank
– 30 crunches
– 30 second wall sit
*2nd round was 30 leg lifts instead of 30 crunches
Something I did during QF92 was to be excited about the daily workouts. I thought that daily (as opposed to a couple times a week) would trigger intense soccer training feelings but I actually looked forward to these daily ditties and feel a bit post-truamatic college athelete healed!

1. Done.
2. 17 burpees without stopping and doing the pushups with a straight back (just need to get lower though)! And, being invested in my teammates showing up 🙂 AND reading the comments and falling for the awesome posts ahemCindyahemCindyahemCindy!

Done! not straight through twice, though…because DOMS! I wasn’t so amazed that I came to Queerfit the first time cause I’ll try just about anything once. I’m amazed that I came BACK. I was so anxious about working out with other people and outside! but QF made me wonder why that was ever an issue. Truly transformative for me. 🙂

Done.
I ran over 4 miles with the QF Revolutionary Runners on the Beltline…the longest I’ve ever run at once. It felt so good! I’ve been scared to run long distances since 7th grade, when my gym teacher made me run the mile even though I told him I had asthma. I ended up in the hospital for 3 days after that and ever since have been scared to run not on a treadmill. Thanks teammates!

Done.
Inversions have been a big physical & mental hurdle for me, so I’m amazed that I finally managed to do an inversion last week. I actually got myself up into a headstand against a wall with no assist and did it again tonight! So cool. 🙂

Done! Those lunges are still haunting me and my knees are burning to even walk. So had to do these in pieces.
I just keep pushing through and determined. Learning to know when I’m in pain and that I can just modify has been a great lesson for me.

All done, except for sun salutations; had no mat today and the floor was a bit too hard on the wrist and knees.
One thing that amazed me about myself during this journey was exercising outside. For the last twenty years I have done all of my exercising indoors and gotten pretty use to it. The last time I actually did any kind of activity outdoors was in college when I lived in Florida and would walk to campus and to work. Absolutely loved it and missed those days!

Done! Amazed myself by exceeding my QF92 pushup goal – I can now do 30 good form pushups in a row. On a good day.

Done! Amazed myself with the push ups, slowly learning how to do them better; and now trying different methods, amazed myself with inversions – never thought I’d be able to do them, although I still have more strength to grow into 😉 and of course didn’t even imagine I would do 1,000 lunges! Thx QF92 & #teamshine!
