For Monday:
Get outside and soak up the sun. Squeeze in 50 push-ups however you can.
Read the African American Policy Forum’s Say Her Name: Resisting Police Brutality Against Black Women.
Self-identifying Black women in Atlanta, #SayHerName in honor of Harriet Tubman asks you to wear white and be the MARTA Garnett Station at 11:00 am.
Monday’s poet is Aja Monet, reading Darnish Harris.

Done. Sorry I can’t go to rally today because of travel. Also–does anyone want to be part of a QF team to help each other do the daily challenges?

Done.
Eunice, I’d love to be part of a team to help each other, cheer for each other, etc! I’m going to be off the grid until Sunday–visiting the real Energizer Bunny (91-yr.-old mom who asked for a pedometer for Ma’s Day…). No internet. While I’m gone, I’m setting for myself a daily goal of 50 pushups and 50 V-ups. Will let you know how I do.
My understanding is that today’s rally was intended for women who self-identify as Black, so I didn’t try to go. But I did read the document, experience the poem, and spent part of my day in spirit of solidarity.

Done! Haven’t had a chance to read the poem, but I will now. Eunice, let me know how we can support each other-sounds great. I’m trying to get them done every day as well.
