On day 3 of our 30 day Super-Earnergy Boost Challenge, you’re going to get rid of one of these for the next 5 days:

1. Everything in your house where sugar (of any variety: high fructose corn syrup, came juice, sweetener, glucose…) is the first, second or third ingredient;

2. Alcohol; or

3. Screen time (of any variety: TV, computer, phone, iPad…) for the 3 hours before your bedtime.

It’s your choice. Cold turkey from Wednesday morning until you go to bed Sunday night. “Get rid of” means throwing it away. That includes, if you choose #2, the emergency bottle of Jim Bean.

No one said this would be easy. That’s why it’s a challenge and not a pony. 

After you’re done clearing out, or during the 3 hours before bedtime that suddenly opened up, here’s our little Wednesday burner:

7 high jumps, 7 squats, 7 burpees, 7 sit-ups, 7 push-ups.

Then 6 of each, then 5, then 3, 2, and 1. You’re skipping 4. That’s what it’ll feel like to take out sugar, alcohol, or screentime – a welcome absence once you get some work in.
