Quick and not at all easy, descending prime number ladder of burpees & squats:
23 burpees, 19 squats, 17 burpees, 13 squats, 11 burpees, 7 squats, 3 burpees, 1 squat
Weight the squats if you’re able, with 1 or 2 dumbbells, or by starting with an empty barbell and loading weight with each set.
Then for the day’s energizer, drink 5 glasses of water throughout the day.
What’s your fantasy fun workout involving water? Give us your ideas in the comments.

Not easy…no kidding! But done, with help from tiny Coach Robby, who decided that my toes were his own personal teething toy. I hope that you’ll meet him Saturday.
Plans for water and meditation throughout the day.
Kung Li–can’t thank you enough for your work for all of us.

Oh, yeah, water workout: a rousing game of Marco Polo. But eschewing the mercantile reference, how about Augusto Sandino as the call-response?

Finally getting back on Queerfit track in my life. We quit the gym (Shan could never make it and I didn’t go enough to justify it). I did it weird order because I thought we started with 17 burpees, so I did the 23 next and then so on. Great set of exercises. I felt energized and not tired at all. Got my blood pumping and my arms and shoulders felt great. Did some core exercises afterwards as well. Then grabbed breakfast with Ms Shantastic at Rise ‘n Dine near Emory before she went to teach international students (mostly Chinese and Korean). My favorite water exercise fantasy is catching my 3.5 year old son, Kashif (aka Kashoo), when he jumps into the pool for me to catch him, over and over and over again till he drops from exhaustion and my arms feel like steel!! Hugs to all. Kodaman is back!!

I used my anger and sadness of the current events to propel me through this. I did it all the way through and timed myself. ‘I don’t feel no ways tired.’ It’s time to save our own lives. #terrorisminCharleston

Im imagining something akin to field day. 🙂 I think many of out current Queerfit exercises could be transitioned to the water, with swimming or kicking relays, high jumps in the water, running in the deep end with life jackets, under water cleans and over head squats, high knees. I am opening to helping plan the workouts.
