A week?! Indeed…today is the seventh day in a row you’ve moved your body in every which way. Go ahead and shake it like a Polaroid picture to remind yourself how awesome you are.
On out seventh day, we’re doing:
7 push-ups, 7 squats, 7 lunges each leg, 7 mountain climbers each leg
Repeat, for 7 minutes
Go smooth and slow for the first minute, then smoother and faster every round until by the last minute you are the moving as strong & pretty as Apollo Creed (before Rocky beat him up).
Then check in with a teammate today and check in on yourself. To ring up 1 point for your team, give us a few words in your comments about how you’re feeling one week in.

All done! Blue didn’t help (video coming soon).
This week I am not struggling with the workouts, but being consistent in moving my body everyday.QF truly needs to become apart of my daily practice at the same time. In not dedicating the time to complete. I am simply just “getting it done”.
Next week I will [try] to complete my QF in the morning! By the evenings after work I’m so tired.

Done! QF92 Feels different this year… Like in not a clueless freshman ๐ I can see areas where I’m stronger this year. I’m really mixing up my workouts this first quarter and I’m feeling mighty proud of myself for keeping going when part of me always wants to veg on the couch.

Done. Feeling pretty strong, but frustrated that I’m not working up to max yet. Patience is not my strong suit. The acupuncture is definitely helping.

Done!! This week has been challenging and inspiring all at the same damn time!! I’ve pushed through boundaries just last week I knew were firm and unwavering. I have grown a daily yoga practice since our first meeting, and my goal is to make that a lifelong change. My goal for next week will be push ups OFF my knees!! Love y’all

Done. Mountain climbers were tough, but the lunges were a bit better this time. Got through 5 rounds + 17.5 reps.

My few words…umm…I’m thankful to be moving purposefully again. Walking dogs and running after kids is great but never feels entirely intentional. QF makes me feel intentional in my care for my body (in all of its imperfections) and I appreciate it. But at the same time, I hope I can learn to be this intentional with holding only myself accountable. It didn’t happen so much after the last time but try and try again until you succeed…no?

Sad my comment didn’t save but feeling excited about being intentional about moving outside of dog walks and running after kids. Feeling nervous about keeping up but also excited that falling in love with our imperfections is a part of QF this year as well. Gosh- I have missed this- grateful.

Today was a harder day for me. I was feeling a little over stimulated. A lot activity and last minute planning got me to Oakland, where I stil feel on go mode. I decided to chill out today. I took a short walk and wrote a little and Internet played. By the time I remembered to do the exercises, I was exhausted. Thanks to my check in from Coach Jocelyn, I got up and did my 7mins.
I did 4reps in 7mins. I feel more energized. I realize that it is important to get in some physical activity everyday to feel awake.

Done! The adjustment to go slow and then faster really helped with the soreness caused by yesterday’s 90(!) push-ups!
I agree with Monica: it’s definitely easier, more familiar, less frightening the second time around. I’m very grateful to be a part again, and want to support everyone who’s decided to take on the awesome challenge of the 92 days!!!

I can’t believe that it has only been one week. Getting back into the swing of things have been tough but I can feel certain moves getting stronger as I continue to practice them (esp squats and push ups). I am glad to have found such a supportive group of people to go through this with. All of you guys are awesome!!!
