Because we went a whole day without them.
Today’s challenge is all squats, all day. With a few jumps thrown in. Here it is:
15 squats
5 seconds to shake out your legs, then
5 jumps, really high. Get down into a crouch, jump as high as you can, land like a ninja.
You’re doing this 6 times throughout the day, with at least an hour between sets. You’re not doing 6 rounds of this straight through. Really get up there on your jumps. And really do try to land as lightly as possible. Your joints will thank you.

I haven’t done this exercise yet, but I just wanted to write how grateful I am for QF 92 this week. I spent last week meeting with the women/kids who were taken in the immigration raids and this week meeting with their families here in Atlanta. And sitting really close to a lot of their very fresh pain and trauma of being under attack by our crazy militarized immigration police state. Combine that with 16 hour days. And the overwhelming realization of how big this all is. So getting these QF posts has felt like a true blessing. It feels great to do something with my body in my office other than type memos and reports and also feel like I have a crew of people who are getting stronger together, because we have to get stronger to stay healthy if we are going to fight this all. So thank you QF92 coaches and teammates. It has seriously been one of the very bright spots every day this past week.

I modified for a bum knee today. Sub kettle bell swings for squats and no jumps… Swings are pretty explosive, right? 🙂

My knee is acting up, so I jumped into plank instead of high jumps.
